Research Databases

Electronic databases enable users to find journal, magazine, and newspaper articles, book reviews, chapters in books, essays, images, definitions, and other documents not usually listed in library catalogs. Some databases provide citations and abstracts only; others also provide the full text of reports on all subjects, and some offer electronic versions of fiction and nonfiction books and textbooks. Records in these databases are fully indexed by author, title, subject headings, etc., and thus these databases provide powerful searchability.

Please note: When you click the connect link you will be asked for your username and password. If you are having difficulty logging in, your password may need reset. Please call 724-480-3399 to reset your own password or contact the CCBC help desk via email at helpdesk@ccbc.edu.
