Employment with CCBC is voluntarily entered into, and the employee is free to resign at will at any time, with or without cause.

Employees are hired into positions classified as follows:

Administrative Staff

Employees in this classification are employed under an annual contract (July 1 to June 30). No property rights in continued employment are conveyed beyond the contract period.

Confidential Staff

Employees in this classification are considered at will.

Faculty

Employees in this classification may be employed for nine (9) or twelve (12) months with employment conditions as specified in CCBC Policy and Procedure and in the Collective Bargaining Agreement where applicable.

Professional/Technical Staff

Employees in this classification are considered at will and accrue rights as defined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement where applicable.

Support Staff

Employees in this classification are considered at will and accrue rights as defined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement where applicable.

CCBC reserves the right to terminate the employment relationship at will at any time, with or without notice or cause, so long as the action does not violate applicable federal or state law, Board Policy, or the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
