The Academic Excellence Scholarship is available to students who are Beaver County residents, enrolled as seniors at a Beaver County High School, and ranked in the top 10% of their class.
The scholarship is not contingent upon financial aid. It covers tuition and fees, excluding flight fees and academic enhancement fees, for the fall and spring semesters. It is automatically renewed for the sophomore year provided the scholar maintains full-time status with a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative grade point average by the end of the second semester. Applicants must apply for College admission and complete and return the Academic Excellence Scholarship application by May 1 of the year in which they plan to graduate from high school. All applicants must complete the FAFSA to determine PHEAA State grant and Pell Grant eligibility.
