This is to define the appropriate procedure and timing to offer employment to a potential candidate for hire within the College.

  1. The departmental Vice President’s signature is required for all hiring requests.
  2. The hire request information is to be sent to Human Resources for salary placement and signature.
  3. All full-time hire actions require the President’s signature approval.
  4. Human Resources will make all job offers excluding part-time faculty.
  5. If further discussions need to be conducted that alter the conditions of hire (i.e., negotiations relative to salary), these discussions must include the President
