Our reputation for integrity and excellence requires careful observance of the spirit and letter of all applicable federal and state laws and regulations and College policies and procedures, as well as a scrupulous regard for the highest standards of personal conduct, professionalism, and personal integrity.
In general, employees are expected to use good judgment, based on high ethical principles, in conducting the business of the College. Where questions of appropriate conduct arise, the employee should consult with his/her immediate supervisor and, if necessary, the Human Resources Department to determine the proper course of action.
Effective implementation of the requirements of this procedure for business ethics and conduct is the responsibility of every CCBC employee. Disregarding or failing to comply with this standard of business ethics and conduct could lead to disciplinary action, up to and including possible termination of employment.
