CCBC acknowledges the work of its employees in carrying out the mission of the organization. In recognition of the service of those full-time employees of the college who retire in good standing from their employment with the College, the following shall apply.
Upon retirement CCBC retirees may request the retention of their CCBC network account by contacting the Office of Human Resources. This account will provide them with:
1. A CCBC email account
2. Access to the research databases to which the college subscribes
3. Access to technology workshops on a space available basis
4. Use of college computers on campus.
Library Access and Borrowing
The CCBC library is a member of the Beaver County Library System (BCLS). Retirees will retain all library privileges that the BCLS extends to current employees of the CCBC including:
• Interlibrary loan privileges
• Borrowing privileges
• Access to all databases to which the BCLs subscribes.
All retirees will receive parking privileges at CCBC at the same rate and under the same terms as currently active employees of the college.
College Identification Card
Retirees of CCBC, upon request of the retiree, will be issued a college identification card identifying them as CCBC retirees.
All CCBC retirees will receive access to the Fitness Center and other recreational facilities at the same rate and under the same terms as currently active employees of CCBC.
Retirees, upon presentation of a retiree identification card, are entitled to the same discount as current employees for purchases from the CCBC Bookstore.
CCBC services and facilities that are extended to retirees are subject to all College Policies and Procedures. CCBC reserves the right to revoke these privileges for actions that do not adhere to those policies and procedures.
