For selected positions, the College will recruit applicants on a regional and/or national basis. In order that such applicants shall be fairly considered, the Board directs that procedures for the reimbursement of reasonable out-of-pocket travel expenses associated with in-person interviews be developed and implemented. The Board directs the President to develop procedures for the implementation of this Policy. The procedures are to address the criteria for reimbursement of those selected for interview to cover local travel, travel requiring overnight accomodations, and travel requiring air transportation, and they are to be consistent with the procedures for reimbursement of employee travel.
