This program encompasses a broad area of study that includes specific concentrations such as public speaking, interpersonal communication, small group communication, and intercultural communication as well as more applied concentrations in the areas of mass communication and media studies. Designed by the Transfer and Articulation Oversight Committee (TAOC), the program allows graduates to seamlessly transfer their credits to select 4-year colleges and universities in Pennsylvania. Communication majors may find careers in a variety of fields including broadcast or recorded media, as a writer or editor, or as a photographer or news correspondent.
