1.02.014 - Public Access to College Records
In the interest of openly conducting the affairs and business of the College, the Board of Trustees has consistently ensured that the College voluntarily complied with the requirements of the Right-To-Know Act. In 2008, the General Assembly amended the Right to Know Act to specifically include community colleges.
To ensure continued compliance, the Board of Trustees directs the President to review and modify procedures which will preserve the integrity of College records while providing public access to College records. The procedures to be developed shall designate the custodian(s) of the records, the process for requesting access, timelines for reasonable response to records requests, and reasonable fees to cover costs for providing the records requested.
