6.05.004 - Vacation Leave

Effective July 1, 2008, the Board of Trustees approves the following rate of Vacation Leave for Administrative and Confidential employees.  Support Staff and eligible Faculty will receive vacation as specified in their respective bargaining agreements. 

Administrative employees                    Total Days

Hire – 5 Years                                 15

6 – 10 Years                                          20

Starting in the 11th Year                25

 

Confidential employees                        Total Days

Hire – 4 Years                                  15

Starting in 5th Year                              20

Administrators employed prior to July 1, 2008, will continue to receive 25 days of vacation. 

Employees shall be permitted to accumulate vacation time to a maximum of two hundred and twenty five (225) hours or thirty (30) days.  An individual who leaves the employment of the College will be paid the full amount of vacation time accrued as of his/her last date of employment. 

The College President is charged with the development of procedures for implementation of this policy.
