It is the intent of the Board to focus on continuing improvement of the Trustees in the performance of their duties to enhance the Board’s effectiveness in governance of the College.  To this end, the Board of Trustees shall at least annually evaluate the performance of the Board as a whole and of the individual members of the Board.  The purpose of the evaluation shall be formative and be designed to identify areas for improvement, to strengthen communication and to promote better understanding of the responsibilities of and expectations for Trustees.  The Board will mutually agree on the instrument(s) to be used in the evaluative process and directs the President to facilitate development of such instrument(s).
