3.02.001 - Instructional Guarantees for Credit-Based Programs
The Community College of Beaver County believes that completion of its instructional programs appropriately prepares students for transfer to baccalaureate institutions or provides appropriate entry-level job skills, depending on the student’s course of study. To indicate the College’s belief in the quality of its programs, it is the desire of the Board of Trustees to create a guarantee program for CCBC graduates.
The guarantee program is to be available to any graduate of the college transfer program judged by a transfer institution as having inadequate preparation from specific coursework completed at CCBC. The program is to also be available to any graduate of an occupational program judged by an employer as having insufficient job skills from specific coursework completed at CCBC.
The President is directed to develop procedures that enable graduates of the College to repeat selected coursework to correct deficiencies in their prior education experience at no additional cost to the student.
