6.06.003 - Employee Assistance Program
The Board of Trustees realizes that the well-being of its employees is essential and that a number of variables may potentially impact an employee’s mental and physical health. Such variables may include family, marital or personal issues, personal illness and illness or loss of a loved one, alcohol and/or drug abuse, and other potential issues with which the individual is unprepared to cope.
To ensure that its employees have access to resources that can be helpful in addressing such issues, the College has developed an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) available to College employees and their families. The Board directs the President to develop and publish procedures guiding employees in voluntarily accessing the services provided through the EAP. The procedures shall also address use of the EAP, where appropriate, within the progressive disciplinary procedures of the College.
