The Public Relations and Marketing Department is guided by Community College of Beaver County’s Mission Statement. It is the Board of Trustees’ charge that the College demonstrate the accomplishment of the institution's mission by developing brand standards and messages that tell the CCBC story as well as put in place methods to prove the efficacy of its integrated marketing communication plans and strategies.

The college's Communications and Image policy covers any message or product representing CCBC that is directed at an internal or external audience, helps to ensure that CCBC represents itself in an accurate, clear, and consistent manner, and presents a common set of guidelines for various types of communication to both internal and external audiences such as publications, advertisements, reports and letters, websites, and new media.
