2.01.005 - Prohibition of Controlled Substances
It is the policy of the Board of Trustees that the Community College of Beaver County shall prohibit the possession, use, sale, or distribution of alcohol and/or controlled substances by any individual on College property or participating in an activity/event sponsored by the College. The Board retains the right to approve waivers related to the use of alcoholic beverages on campus under controlled circumstances as it may deem appropriate and delegates this responsibility to the President.
The Board directs the President to develop procedures as may be required for implementation of this policy. The procedures may impose special requirements including but not limited to random or mandatory drug/alcohol testing where such procedures may be necessary to satisfy the requirements of external agencies or organizations.
