HollyDay Gala and Silent Auction

With 350 sponsors and guests in attendance, the CCBC Foundation hosted its largest attendance ever at its 15th Annual HollyDay Gala & Silent Auction on Wed., Nov. 30 at the Beaver Valley Golf Club.

With Silver Bells sponsor First National Bank leading the way, this year's event raised funds to help CCBC students complete their education. In addition, the inaugural First National Bank Culinary Scholarship was awarded to student Leah Jukkola in the amount of $1,000.

The highlight of HollyDay each year is the menu prepared and served by the CCBC Culinary Arts students under the direction of Camille Stevenson and her culinary instructors.  This year’s selection featured a carving station, saladtinis, mashed potato bar, fruit and cheese display, as well as gourmet desserts that included cheesecakes, cupcakes, and truffles.

The evening’s festivities also included a Chinese auction of high-end seasonal décor and gift baskets, a money tree raffle, live auction of Pittsburgh Penguins memorabilia, and holiday piano music.

All auctions items are donated by community members, businesses, and organizations, and proceeds help support the vision, mission, values and goals of the College.

Happy HollyDays!
