| Computer Support Specialist Certificate Offered Credits Required: 31
Computer Support Specialists provide technical assistance and support to customers and other users that deal with hardware and software issues. The Specialist resolves computer issues by telephone or by direct end user desktop. This fast-track program can be completed in two semesters of full-time study.
Students completing required courses will be eligible to take the exam for Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification, the globablly recognized standard for desktop skills with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook), as well as the exams for Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) certification, which recognizes skills needed to successfully troubleshoot desktop environments running on the Microsoft Windows operating systems.
