HIGH SCHOOL ENRICHMENT
CCBC's High School Enrichment Program will enable you, the student, to earn college credits before you even graduate from high school. Academically qualified and highly motivated high school students are invited to apply.
Open to those high school students who have completed their junior year, studnets are only permitted to register for classes that are unavailable to them at their own high school.
For college-bound students, the benefits of CCBC's High School Enrichment Program can be very rewarding. College credits earned at community colleges can save you and your parents thousands of dollars in tuition, room and board costs, and other expenses. The program will also allow you to finish your college education early by taking several college-level classes before you graduate from high school.

Do You Qualify? The following qualifications must be met in order to enroll in the High School Enrichment Program:
- Successfully completed your junior year of high school or enrolled in your high school's gifted education program.
- A QPA of 2.5 or higher is recommended
- Submit SAT or ACT scores if taken
- Provide a letter of recommendation from your high school guidance counselor or principal
The Letter of Recommendation should include:
- Permission of the high school or home school education program supervisor to take the course(s)
- Which course(s) should be taken per the recommendation of the high school guidance counselor or the home school education supervisor. A maximum of 7 credits (2 classes) per semester is permitted.
- Provide an official copy of your most recent high school transcript or your most recent home school portfolio, including standardized test scores for home schooled students.
Getting Started Here's everything you need to know to enroll in CCBC's High School Enrichment Program.
- Meet with the Information and Registration Center
- Complete the CCBC Application
- Complete placement tests required for English and math classes.
- Complete the class registration form
- Students will be billed for tuition and fees after the registration forms are processed.
All college policies regarding tuition, fees and admissions procedures will apply. Transcripts will be issued upon request. |
