ARTS & SCIENCES: Liberal Arts/Humanities Degree Program
Degree Offered: Associate in Arts
Credits Required: 64/65

Program Director:
Dr. John Gall, Liberal Arts & Sciences
john.gall@ccbc.edu

Our Humanities courses include those in English, Fine Art, Philosophy, Foreign Language, and Music. By choosing the Humanities option, you will be preparing yourself for a career that emphasizes creativity, communication, and analysis, including careers in advertising, education, law, publishing, and writing. In addition, employers in many fields consider the skills developed by Humanities majors to be essential.

The Humanities program at CCBC allows you to take those Liberal Arts courses that are normally required during the first two years at four-year institutions for students wishing to major in one the Humanities disciplines.

Upon successful completion of our associate degree, you are prepared to pursue a bachelor's degree at various institutions, and after that, a career in a variety of fields.
