Financial Aid 101

Let’s face it. College costs money. But, at CCBC we strive to make higher education affordable for every student. The financial aid and scholarship programs have been established to assist students in obtaining those much needed financial resources to help supplement the costs of college today.

Approximately 75% of students who attend CCBC receive some form of financial aid. All students are encouraged to apply for aid, even if they feel they may not be eligible.

In order to have your financial aid eligibility determined, you are encouraged to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The priority deadline for filing the FAFSA is May 1. Any application received after that date is processed on a rolling basis.

Be sure to log on to
www.fafsa.ed.gov to request an application or even apply for aid online.

All financial aid at CCBC is awarded to students who demonstrate financial need and maintain academic progress.

At CCBC, we realize that money is a crucial part of any student’s college decision. Through CCBC’s Financial Aid Office and scholarship programs, we can make sure that you can afford to have the chance to live out your dreams.
