| STUDENT GOVERNMENT ASSOCIATION
The Student Government Association, or S.G.A., is comprised of officers elected by the student body. Representatives from each of the campus's active clubs as well as students from the general population make up the membership. S.G.A. operate within a constitution written by students and coordinates the student activities program, recommends the issuance of charters to new organizations, and represents students' views on issues of current importance at CCBC. The Student Activities Office also keeps a record of the number of hours each student's volunteers during the various service projects organized by Student Government each semester. Then, when you graduate a printout of all of your individual volunteer hours is yours to keep, which makes a wonderful addition to any resume or four-year college application. S.G.A. meetings are held every other Monday at noon in the Student Services Center Conference Room. Dates are posted in the Titan Talk. All are welcome to attend. |
