CCBC ATHLETICS
Be a part of the team at Community College of Beaver County. CCBC athletics are an excellent way for student athletes to continue their careers after high school. CCBC offers students three intercollegiate sports to choose from; including men's basketball and women's volleyball and softball as well as a host of Intramural activities for everyone no matter what your skill level. At CCBC, you will also find an enthusiastic coaching staff who value academics and athletics and who will be committed to helping you succeed in the classroom and on the playing field.
The Titans participate in the Western Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference (WPCC), Pennsylvania Collegiate Athletic Association (PCAA), and the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). Our teams' success is evident in the many championships and titles won over the years.
The Titan Cheerleaders are also on-hand to provide school spirit at campus sporting events each semester. College facilities include the Golden Dome and Softball Filed, providing exciting backdrops for home games. Men's Basketball The Titans Men's Basketball team plays a high-energy style of basketball, which has paid off on the court time and time again. The team's long list of accomplishments in recent years includes various titles and championships. Women's Volleyball Scott Ensworth, Head Coach Providing their fans with exciting matches each time they hit the court, the Lady Titans Volleyball team provides consistent teamwork season after season. Such dedication has paid off earning the Lady Titans championship titles several times over the years while both the WPCC and PCAA named Coach Scott Ensworth "Coach of the Year" in 2001. Women's Softball Scott Ensworth, Head Coach If you are really into softball and want to play in a first class program, then this is the program for you. Our coaches have a passion for the game and will make you work hard but will make it fun along the way. Here are some of CCBC's perks: - Six-week spring season

Intramurals Rich Campbell, Intramurals Coordinator CCBC now offers an expanding program of intramural activities for both male and female students. Open to all students, Intramurals provide you with an opportunity to practice and develop your abilities while enjoying various sports and competitions.
Tournaments have been conducted in activities such as bowling, flag football, pool, basketball, golf, fishing, table tennis, wrestling, chess, handball, and much more, allowing all students to participate in at least one activity. In addition, new activities can be organized according to students' interests. "The Dome" CCBC's Athletics & Events Center provides our students with a place to go for recreation, exercise, sporting events, concerts, and various other campus and community events. Located within in the Dome are locker rooms, a multi-purpose room, and a weightlifting and fitness center on the upper level complete with both free weights and stationary exercise equipment. These facilities are open to all students from 8 a.m.- 3 p.m., Monday-Friday, unless otherwise noted. The Golden Dome also serves as the site for all of the basketball and volleyball teams' home games. |
