Once on the site, visit "Job Seekers", click on "Training Programs and Providers" and type Community College of Beaver County in the training provider section. This will give you a complete list of programs offered by CCBC through the PA Career Link Program. We have several locations to choose from: Beaver, Washington and Lawrence.

CompTIA's A+

CompTIA’s A+ Certification  OCCP06501    $1,800 + $200 Lab
This HANDS-ON course is designed for students with minimal hardware experience.  Students will learn the components of a personal computer, how to install an operating system, and peripheral devices.  Lab fee includes book and tool kit.  Prereq: knowledge of Windows operating system, Internet usage, and file management.  70 Hours-10 Weeks.  Tues. (6-9 p.m.) & Sat. (8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.) 6/13-8/22 (no class 7/4), ASC (Chippewa), Room 121B.

GIS Mapping Certificate

GIS & Cartography for Beginners OCCP57701    $119 + $15 Lab 
This hands-on class is a great FIRST STEP for individuals interested in working in fields that utilize geographic information system technology (GIS).  Learn why it’s so important for cartographers to have an ability in geography as well as graphics and art.  9 Hours-3 Weeks.  Mon., 8/3- 8/17, 6-9 p.m.  ASC (Chippewa), Room 121B.
