Three New Board of Trustees Members Sworn In at Monthly Meeting
Community College of Beaver County welcomed three new members to the Board of Trustees on Thursday, July 26.
Robert Del Greco, a Center Township resident, currently holds the full-time position of Field Placement Coordinator in Robert Morris University’s (RMU) School of Education and Social Sciences. Prior to his employment at RMU, he had a 34 year career in public education, serving as an elementary and middle school teacher, elementary principal, and superintendent. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, Master of Education in Higher Education, and a doctorate in Administrative and Policy Studies from the University of Pittsburgh. Del Greco currently serves on the Junior Achievement Educational Advisory Board, Beaver County Head Start’s grantee board, and is a member of the Western Pennsylvania Superintendents Forum.
Harold F. Reed, Jr., Esquire, a Brighton Township resident, is currently a lawyer in Beaver. He has represented the townships of Brighton and Darlington for over 50 years. Reed earned a Bachelor of Arts at Princeton University and attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. He is a current member of the Beaver County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
Genetha M. Short, a lifelong resident of Beaver County, is currently a Senior Account Executive for the Advertising/Marketing department at WPXI-TV. Prior to her 16 years at WPXI-TV, Short was employed by the College as an admissions counselor. She earned both undergraduate and graduate degrees in journalism from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana.
The three new members join current members Helen T. Kissick, Board Chairperson; Cynthia P. Gleason; John A. Kochanowski; Frederick Retsch; and Stephen W. Robinson.
