Paying for College

One of the biggest challenges facing potential college students and their parents is how to apply and receive financial aid to help supplement higher education costs. CCBC encourages all of our students to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to determine eligibility for grants and other aid.

Our Financial Services Department is committed to guiding you through the process of understanding how to pay for your education here at CCBC. Use the links below to help get you started.

Important New feature on the FAFSA website

The College recommends that students file their 2013 Federal Income Tax Return prior to submitting their FAFSA and use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool on the FAFSA website. This tool is accessible one to two weeks after filing the federal tax return electronically or six to eight weeks if filing via U.S. mail. The IRS Data Retrieval Tool allows students to view and securely transfer federal tax information directly from the IRS to the FAFSA. Using the tool saves time and increases the accuracy of the FAFSA.  Students who do not use the data retrieval tool and are selected for verification will be required to get a copy of their tax transcript from the IRS for verification purpose.
