About the Library
The Library is located in the upper level of the Learning Resources Center. This building was dedicated in 1997. The collection consists of approximately 36,000 volumes to support users' educational and recreational needs. The collection is maintained in such a way as to reflect the Community College of Beaver County's commitment to the curriculum and to the changing needs of the College community and includes reference, fiction, nonfiction, juvenile, audiobooks, e-books and DVDs.
Also located inside of the Library are the Tutor Center, the offices of Supportive Services, the ACT 101 program, the GED office, Reading Rooms, Veterans' Services and the Learning Lab. Get a quick overview of all of the staff and services at this location at the Who's Who page.
A wireless network is available in the Library and throughout campus so that users who have their own notebook computers may access the internet. Reading rooms are available for staff meetings or group study; carrels, tables, and comfortable seating are available for individual study.
